The Stop ‘n’ Surf Internet bus is part of the Surf ‘n’ Snack Shack project, both of these projects are run by the Charity People United Against Crime. Their aim is to bring Internet access and training to communities around the Penistone area.

Evening sessions are run for Young People only, while the day time sessions are for communities and business, providing free basic computer training in the form of eCitizen,  and European Computer Driving Licence (ECDL), which is a recognised level 2 qualification.
